A server for Moodle: your own, shared or managed?
Moodle runs on any server that meets its requirements. The difference is who makes sure it keeps running.
VPS
It is affordable and flexible, but you install, update, back up and fix outages yourself. It makes sense if your team has Linux server experience.
Dedicated server
More exclusive capacity, but with the same administrative workload and a higher cost.
Managed Moodle
We size and maintain the server. You use Moodle with administrator access and do not deal with the technical side.
